Dear Club Members,

Happy New Year.  Following Sunday’s Committee meeting some dates for your diary.

Member led Sunday morning rides, starting at 09:30 will continue until the end of February.  As last year we will return to 08:30 starts/4 Group Rides from the beginning of March.  Wednesday evening rides will also return once the evenings get lighter. 

The following events are in planning:

The evening of Monday 22nd April will be our AGM, we anticipate this will be in The Swan at Great Easton as last year, but this is to be confirmed.
Sunday 28th April will be the date of our first Gran Fondo (big ride)of the year – ideal training for those who have entered Ride London at the end of May.
Sunday 12th May will be our 8th Birthday Ride, a longer ride ending at a pub near Dunmow.
Sunday 9th June will our 2nd Gran Fondo, with a ride into Suffolk.
We hope to have our Summer BBQ in July, details to follow.
In September we are planning to return to Colchester Cycleway.
Sunday 13th October will be our 3rd and final Gran Fondo of the year.

David at DOER Cycles, Blake End has a limited stock of the new DVCC kit which is available for you to try and buy.  You can view the full range of kit on-line, however you can only buy on-line when the Club Shop Window is open – we will let you know when the next Window is open.
